This city is named after the bookpress, An invention that became incedibly valuable to a religion and peoples who value the written word. Before Salthan had a strong oral tradition, and later these tradions were recorded on scrolls. But with the invention of printing it made recording words much easier.
Bookmaker’s Guild
Home of the national union guild of book makers and those who work in the book making industry. The people here are more than happy to provide information on the art and history of book making.
National Book Museum
Highlighting some of the most ancient and famous from famous literary works such as Mr. Tisihadin, author of "Karetisiha" (The Son of the Sun) as well as the famous ancient political and spiritual writings. Open 7am to 8PM M-F, 12a-4P Sat, Closed SUN. Children: 2800 PK$, Adults: 5600 PK$ . Young children (under 5) are free, but must be accompanied by a paying adult.
